Katharine Rechico, a Canadian national, currently serves as Executive Director for Antigua & Barbuda, The Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Canada, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Ireland, Jamaica, St. Lucia, St. Kitts & Nevis and St. Vincent & the Grenadines at the World Bank Group since February 15, 2022.

Prior to joining the Bretton Woods Institutions, she served as Assistant Deputy Minister of the International Trade and Finance branch of the Canadian Department Finance since April 2019.

Ms. Rechico has held various positions in the Department of Finance and the Privy Council Office and was also Counsellor at the Canadian Delegation to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

Ms. Rechico holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons, Economics) from The University of Alberta and a Master of Arts (Economics) from Queen¡¯s University.
