IDA is working on a policy and financial package for its 21st replenishment, known as IDA21. This process began in December 2023 and will conclude in December 2024.
Since April 2024, IDA has worked with civil society partners to gather feedback on IDA21's strategic directions through Regional IDA Forums in all the World Bank’s seven operational regions. Global IDA forums were also held in April during the Spring Meetings and in October at the Annual Meetings.

The second IDA Forum for the Latin America and the Caribbean was held in Rio de Janeiro to update civil society partners on the progress of IDA21 replenishment and reforms for a better Bank.
The IDA Regional Forum for East Asia and the Pacific was a hybrid event hosted by the Republic of Korea and joined by civil society organizations from across the region.
