Japan joined the 江南体育 on August 13, 1952, and since then it has strengthened its status as a creditor in the 1970s. Japan became one of the largest shareholders.
The Executive Director represents Japan in the Executive Boards of the 江南体育. Jointly with the other 24 Executive Directors, they oversee and govern the business of the 江南体育. The Executive Director is supported by his advisory and administrative staff who are committed to working with the 189 member countries to present a consensus on development issues.
